I wanted to share a few of my recent designs for Cascade Yarns, all of which can be found on their website as free patterns! I have always loved Cascade Yarns' products - I've never worked with one of their yarns that I haven't just loved it, and the color palettes are always so gorgeous. They offer yarn for every type of project - from easy care acrylic to the most luxurious bulky alpaca, and everything in between.
I got to work with one of their newer yarns, Anchor Bay, when I designed the Moss Lace Scarf. It can be worn a variety of ways, as the photos show, and the lace pattern works up super quickly. Easy too! And Anchor Bay, a springy blend of cotton and super wash merino, was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend it for wash-and-wear projects.
My Hourglass Stole uses one of their tried and true yarns that keep a solid fan base - 220 Superwash. This design features a unique "hourglass" stitch pattern with lots of texture and a really fun double scalloped border for interest.
It will keep you cozy and is fun to make!
And for a different type of neck warmer, my Sage Bloom Scarf is ideal for the on-the-go gal who doesn't want to mess with scarf ends. This infinity scarf can be worn in a long loop, or doubled around the neck for extra warmth.
It also uses 220 Superwash, and is a great example of their gorgeous shades. I just love this color! The ribbed stitch pattern is super simple - even a beginner can make it.
