I read your blog now share great information here.

Sylvia Stanley

Thank you very much. This article answered all my questions. Now I know how to dine with opera gloves!!!

Kathleen Jones

I have a fur, Emba-Autumn Haze. Natural Brown. Should I wear a brown glove or beige glove?

Kristen Stoltzfus Clay

Hi Kathleen - I believe that is a matter of taste, and how formally you are dressed. If you are in a cocktail dress, for example, beige gloves with the fur would be best; if street wear like a suit, either will work but brown is probably more suitable.

Christy Lewis

I am beginning to think it might be a good idea to start wearing gloves when I go to the grocery store or just out in public in general. With all the viruses and illness going around what would be a good all-around casual glad to wear?

Kristen Stoltzfus Clay

Hi Christy - I would recommend getting a modern pair of dress gloves for that purpose, especially since you can get some that have touchable pads on the fingertips so you can use your phone without taking them off. I found some nice ones with a narrow fur trim on eBay. They are more cold-weather appropriate, however.

Annette Connor

Which color of glove is more appropriate and stylish for a formal event to complement a black dress with a cream cape, black or cream?

Thank you for your help.

I have a picture from 1925 of my aunt wearing one white glove and one black glove. Is there any significance to that?

Kristen Stoltzfus Clay

Hi Peggy, I never heard of such a thing so I have no idea if it had significance other than an interesting fashion statement.
