Oh how wonderful is your new blouse!! I agree with you about the peplum spouse's ability to stay nicely tucked in!! The sweet gathering at the type of the blouse is so sweet!! Your hat is fabulous!!! And I am really loving your hair!! You look wonderful!


I simply adore the look of this dress-come-peplum blouse so much that I would really like to make a version of this myself! It's a stunning make, and now I have to track down that pattern... Is there a possibility you will be able to tell me that pattern number please? It really is gorgeous!! ❤

Hi Bonita - the pattern is Simplicity 2561. However, if you can't find it, there are quite a few similar styles in other patterns from that era. Peplums were very popular in the 1930s.
